Mosaic Floor with Birds from Byzantine House on the Tel

This very large mosaic from the interior of a house on the terrace contained an image of a dove wearing a ribbon that echoes similar birds found in another house and a monastery from fifth century Beth Shean, suggesting artists frequently reused and recombined popular motifs for different projects.
