Mosaic Floor with Meander Pattern from Byzantine House on the Tel
Although we do not know exactly what houses at Beth Shean may have looked like, one excavated on the Tel contained several mosaic floors that give us some idea of how they may have been decorated. This panel includes a red and black border, with the beginning of the central pattern visible above.
